Drove down to check out the bungalow we rented a few years ago and are taking July 6-20 this summer. Tons of devastation between PP and The Heights. Rented on Stockton St near the Funtown pier which is gone. Other than that the area is in better shape than reported. Funtown casino with the carousel is operating along with the bars, games and pizza shops. All the other buildings going toward the Casino pier look decent but you can't walk down because they are redoing the boardwalk which looks 70-80% done. No rides on the Casino pier but it appears to be still there. Should be a good summer but I couldn't find Snooki! How's the surf fishing down there? I only fish off boats but this year I'm going to try it.
