Default GAMBLER'S 1st Striper hunt

Looked all the way up to Sandy Hook and the Channels but the water was cold and void of baitfish. Tried jigs and clams --no bites.

Weather was gorgeous.

We'll try it again tomorrow, headed the other direction. Only guarantee is that the crew and I will try our best.

Looks like very nice weather for tomorrow and Monday.

From what I hear there are big plankton blooms in SH and BB. If the filter feeders come there will be food to keep them in town. Not long before the gannets show us that something is under the water in SH Bay! and the predators will be right behind them(hopefully)!
