Default should I stay, or should I go!

Boat is ready (still needs one or two tweaks, but it is sea worthy and safe), weather looks great for saturday! But there is nothing to fish for. flounder reports suck, very few bass yet, and blackfish are still too far out for my little boat.

Do I put her in the water tomorrow and just screw around, or wait another week or two? I am torn. any advice?

Don't not much going on. It is not worth the rush.
Fine tune it tommorow 57 degrees. Wax it up, test electronics, ect.
Clean the back yards winter mess.
Enjoy Easter Sunday and your last weekend home to relax.
Next weekend it will begin, trout, trout, and more trout which will then fade into sprig blackfish trips and then fade to bass fishing.
Take this warm weekend to organize your gear.
Me, I'll be in the garage gearing up the kayak, checking rod guides, reloading the trout vest, ect.
Preperation is key.

I'd go for it. (not alone naturally) The safest way to work out any kinks would be on the bay or in the Navesink and it's never too early to get a line wet.

Steve REMEMBER reports are not always what they appear to be.

Every hour I'm out on the water I'm learning things and becoming a better captain. If you don't "care" about the fuel burn and just want wind in your face...go. (I'm itching, but the boat isn't ready yet)
