![]() CrewChief2...Not knowing what size boat you have , I have been telling my customers it would be wise to carry a spare prop. If you have a stainless prop on now, might be a good idea to replace it with an aluminum one. The stainless prop is not going to give if/when you do hit something and may do more damage to the lower unit..At most ,if you have an aluminum prop on ,as least it will bend/break and maybe save more headaches down the road..Go slow and be careful..Pete

![]() In the Navesink it seemed that all the debris got carried up high on the shorelines and that is where it has stayed.
It's not the same in RB as in BB where entire homes got washed into the bay.. But I haven't been in Raritan bay yet-so I could be wrong. attached-some knocked out fish from some work last year...

![]() I had posted in another thread about what I have heard, and what I observed the morning after Sandy. One of my contacts out at sandy hook tells me that the day after they cleanup a section of the beach, there's tons of debris back on the beach, some of it big. It has gotten better over time, but they're still getting stuff. There were some houses, or parts of houses, from union beach, keansburg, port monmouth, that wound up in the bay. There were parts of roofs floating off of port monmouth/belford, I say parts because I can only comment on what I could see above water. Be careful, and I think the suggestion of switching to an aluminum prop is a great idea (and bringing an extra).
