Default wreck anchor question

How do you guys bend your anchor back in to shape while on the boat ?

I keep a two foot piece of galvanized pipe in the anchor locker. If the grappel gets bent out of shape, my mate slips the pipe over the rebar and bends it right back.

You can use a rod holder but if you have a plastic insert in it you might damage it...

If you have one of those shore power chord holders that you stick in the pole holder that works well or like mentioned above a pipe. It needs to be 2 feet long or more so you can create enough leverage to bend the tines back.

pipe or rod holder. If your worried about damaging your rod holder with the anchor or boat with a metal pipe use a 30" section of 1-1/4" PVC. That will work with a rebar anchor too.

thanks guys, all great ideas. I found a portable rod holder, I am going to slip it into the rod holder and try that.
