Golden Eagle Mackerel Report
Well i wish we could say we r off to a good start but i can't even sugar coat that one
 We managed to be the only one to sail for MACKS on saturday with a very small crowd , but i wanted to do some looking.We covered alot of ground with very little results 3 Macks to be exact and about 50 Herring Today ( tuesday ) we were out again with a very small crowd actually it looked like it was gonna be another day at the dock and at 7:00 a group of 10 hopped on the boat so we went to look again. Headed to the east saw some readings put it on a drift and we picked a handfull of MACKS i saw a few doubles , triples and a few singles after that first small drift we made numerous drifts through out the day . Some drifts you would see some MACKS come in others you wouldnt. High hook of 20 Macks low hook of 10 the rest were in between those #'s. Where are the MACKS.. Cant wait till they show up in force so i can go fill a cooler!
