Default Sunday on da Monger

My brother and buddies Rich and Dom got the txt from Capt Jerry for a make-up charter after several blow outs. So, it only took us a few seconds to say lets do it!

As usual, Jerry had us on fish right away with my brother boating several quality fish on the first drop. My buddie Rich (Tognut) then caught a nice 7 1/2 lb female leading the daily pool bragging rights. The rock bite slowed down so Capt decided to make a move to some wrecks. The first drop proved to be the ticket as Dom instantly boated a slob over 10 1/2 lbs. My brother then caught several 5 lbers in a row. That was my queue for a brotherly mugging, which I converted into my own streak of keepers. Then, I got the big bite i was looking for, a 10lb slob.

We continued to pick away at quality fish for the remainder of the day, easily boating our limits and then played catch/release. We live released both 10 lbers hoping someone else can enjoy the next catch_n_ release.

Many Thanks to Capt Jerry for keeping us on the bite and making all the right moves. We were also welcome to see Wayne manning the decks and putting up with us passionate fisherman.

It was also nice meeting Pat and his son who also had to put up with our brotherly love all day.

The Monger Rules! ( but you guys already know that! )

Actually, if the Belmar ramp was open, I would have been out a few more times with the Parker. I'm not complaining though. See ya in the spring.
