![]() Was serching the web for some ice fishing tips and came across a site that decribes how to use a downrigger clip on a tip up so that you can fish LARGE baits without trippin the flag. Thought it was a good idea and figured i would pass it along to the HARDWATER GUYS! Its called

![]() Clothes pins and rubber bands on the base of your tipup will work too. Make sure the clip isn't too tight though or they might rip your bait right off the hook. I wouldn't worry about all that if you want big pike though, dead bait is better.
