Congrats on that beast of an eye! Do you prefer to eat them when there bigger like this or the smaller ones, Or is it just any ole' marble eye who hits the frying pan? Id love to get one its on my list of fish yet to catch myself, but hopefully soon to be off that list. What lake is that by the way?

Years ago I fished up in Canada and we caught some walleye in the 15" range and they were delicious. Best fish I've ever had.

This year I took a 6-7lber out of Greenwood Lake and it did not taste nearly as good. In fact, it wasn't good at all.

I'm not a big fish eater - usually just fluke, blackfish, porgy and an occassional perch or crappie. Based on that 1 fish I brought home, I'd toss any walleye back in NJ unless it was one that just made it at 18".
