Default Canyon 6500 Spinning Reel - Product Review in OTW Magazine

Canyon's 6500 Spinner is in the product testing article this month's On The Water Magazine. Good review.......I think somebody else here has been talking about that reel sine the fall of 2011. ???

We have them in stock, with both handle options. ( stock handle & softer Daiwa style round handle) .

Also some good reading on everything from inshore bluefin, to offshore tuna to shallow water fluke to deep wreck fluke in the same issue. I love this magazine!!

i know this is an old post but what's the verdict on these? Any first hand reviews? I'm looking to upgrade my spinning reel to something comparable to the VS, but hopefully more affordable.

So far so good..... I have not had a single spinner come in with issues to the shop yet. I have had a few reels here and there that were jigging reels..... but no spinners yet.
