Took a short 7 mile float yesterday from POXONO ISLAND down to the WATER GAP with Bob and Mike. We kinda rushed through it because I had a BBQ to get to. Started at 7 am sharp. Lots of Shad still in the river, I mean theres thousands but there swimming around half dead. Target species Walleye, I caught 4 for the day while floating. Mike had 2 on the day with a bonus 1 lb Bluegill to add to his trophy wall. Couple of Smallies and Fallfish were caught as well. All Eyes were short between 15 and 17 7/8 inches which would be a nice limit in Canada. Bob caught 2 chubbs on a spinner, he had a bad day because he brought a kiddie paddle for his Kayak that was 3 feet long. Only spot we stopped at to fish was the Aquarium pool, boys if you never fished this hole you have no clue what your missing. 3 eyes and the monster gill came out of this hole at 1 in the afternoon. This stretch of river has flattened out alot over the past couple years but theres still fish to catch. We got off the water at 230pm. Floating,

kayaking is AWESOME. Next floats going to be 18 miles. Get outside and play. GOOD TIMES, TIGHT LINES!!!
