Union County Honey Hole: 5/31-3rd time produced quantity
Went again last night--same lake in Union County, different location, same lure: 1/4 white spinnerbait. Worked a decent amount of shoreline. Landed 6 fish from 7-9 PM. 2 6-7 inch dinks (ballsy lil' bastards hitting such a big lure), 2 12-14 inch fish, and 2 fish in the 16 inch range. 4 of the six fish caught were in the same exact spot swirling on newly hatched fry. I'm unsure if they were bass fry or sunfish fry but they seemed pretty dialed into the tiny bait. Nonetheless, they all crushed the white spinnerbait.
My buddy caught up with me about 45 later and caught nothing. He was using the same lure--I dunno why he didnt have comparable results, although he did come unglued on a fish that wouldve easily been the biggest of the night. Jumped once and his spinnerbait shot back at him lol... Almost adding insult to injury.
Here's a few pics of the fish I caught before my friend joined. Pain in the *ss snapping pics solo with a Droid. One may be a duplicate, just a different angle.
Catch em' up!
