Passaic River 5/23

Headed to the Passaic again today after work for some more bronzeback action and was not disappointed. I only had about half an hour to fish, and managed 4 smallies a little bigger than the other day. Biggest fish went 2-5 at 16.5 inches. I had something really big hit my line and take off upstream like a bullet, ripping drag from my reel. It wrapped me around some wood and that was it. I had six pound test on. I will be back for it with 10 or 12. Picture of biggest fish of the day.

I caught one today on the Passaic, looked like it was about that size. Got it on a Rapala and it hit my lure about 3 feet from shore right under the small Chatham Falls.

Funny how this big bird flies up and in 3 minutes i see him eat at least 5 small fish right under the Falls.
