Clinton Rd Resevoir 4/10
Headed up to Clinton Rd this morning. After stopping to buy a fishing license, then fishing and boating permits, we finally got on the water about 10:30. Conditions were rough. Windy, cool, and passing showers.
Fished till about 3, landed 6 smallies. 2 average and 4 fatties. Got 3 of em trolling crankbaits, 1 on a spinner, and 2 on shiners. Great first outing in my new craft.

Not too sure since i havnt equipped myself with sonar yet. I would say rough estimate, 12-15 ft. I was trolling along the shoreline maybe 20 yards off shore.

Nice Smallies!!! That Newark Watershed, Clinton, Canistear, Oak Ridge and Echo Lake res is the BEST fishery that NJ has. Great job!!!
