Default Delaware River 3/8

After all my running around today, being my day off, I finally made it to the river by 3 this afternoon. Started throwing jigs in various spots and came up with nothing. Wind was brutal out of the SSW today. Moved around a bit and fished under a bridge. Jigged twister tails, bright orange tipped with half a crawler, came up with 2 fish for the day. 1 Smallie coming in around 17 inches around 3 chunky pounds maybe more. also got my first keeper Walleye of the year, he goes a hair over 18 but real slim. Poor guy was hungry, fought like a champ to. Ill give him only 2.5 lbs if that. All in all a good couple hours fishing off land! Got out of there around 530, clouds started rollin in thick. TIGHT LINES!!!! IM JUST WARMIN UP!!!

Two very nice looking fish there. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon.

Yeahhhh buddy, nice feesh! Those smallies are hitting nicely lately. Landed my first on a wacky senko today, caught em like that, on a jerkbait, and on a shiner and its only March! Gonna be a good smallie season.

Didn't get any rain when I was there, the clouds were dark green. I was thinking in my head, TORNADO!!!
