Default Rainbow Lake 10/2

Hit Rainbow Lake today. We got on the water at 10:30 am. It was chilly and wet out but the fish were feeding. We threw Mr. Twisters for most of the time although I did pick one up on a Senko. We got off the water at 3:30 pm. We combined for 57 fish. Yellow perch made up a large portion of the catch with pickeral, crappie, bass and sunfish mixed in. Suprised to see so many yellow perch, they have become active in there over the past few weeks. Also suprised to see a lack of crappies today, they usually the main catch while throwing Mr. Twisters.. Overall, a very good day of fishing with tons of fun despite the weather using ultralights and 4 lb. test. Might be fishing tommorow, not sure where though.

I'm guessing that you kept the yellow perch?

Only a couple actually. Had some perch fillets in the fridge so we only kept the bigger ones.
