Talking Big "d" 7/26

Hit the big river today finally after yesterdays wash out. I knew the water was a shade high and brown, I just needed to do some fishin. Launched the boat at noon in the coffee colored riva. Lots of floating debri. Anyway, targeted catfizz due to the horrible water clarity. Managed 4 channels biggest 24 inches. Also the eels were on the prowl today, must have caught 30 nice bait size eels. Oh, area fished, Reigelsville, where the Musky dumps in. Lots of fish on this stretch of riva. TIGHT LINES!!!

i also went catfishing in the Delaware around Bulls Island but only managed to get eels cause i only had worms for bait. i decided to cut it into chunks for the big cats but no success.

Anglers on the BIG D are wondering where the smallies are??? Did the FLATHEAD CATFIZZ eat all the smallies??? Ive talked to alot o local anglers who will agree that the smallies seem to be diminishing rapidly....... Any opinions on this subject is appreciated!!!

Between the snakeheads and the flatheads, I can see the shad run going up in smoke also. It's a shame about the smallmouth population.
