Default Alliare State Park Ponds

Anyone ever fish any of the ponds there? Looks like there's 3 little ponds next to the trail - on the map its marked as allaire state park property. There's also Brisbane Lake and another pond to the right of the entrance. (I'm not including that little pond that is in the middle of the town). Also I thought I read there is a dam on the manasaquan in there somewhere - couldn't spot on the earth viewer - can any one tell me how to get to that?

don't know anything about the ponds, but the dam is actually at the intersection of I 195 exit 31 and Rt 547. Going either direction on 547 (Lakewood Farmingdale Rd) there is a pull off in between the northbound and southbound sides (which are split at that point as the road passes over I 195).

There is parking next to a maintenance building and a trail along the river and the dam is clearly seen there.

Thanks Rob - I see it now!

I have but I guess I didn't explore far enough.. I only went a little beyond those ponds that are there.
