Hit Pemberton Lake in the pm yesterday. Working the shoreline for bass didn't pay off at all so we went straight to jigging for crappies around the sunken dock and the submerged logs. It paid off. We had crappies, bass, some bluegills and a perch. Some of the crappies were slabs, and the bass ranged from dinks to decent size. We fished from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. In that time we managed 46 fish. A short but very good afternoon of fishing.
In 9.5 hours, on 2 different lakes, we caught 114 crappies, bass, bluegills, pickeral, perch and a baby channel cat between the 2 of us. An excellant day of fishing for us yesterday. We were supposed to have a striper charter yesterday, but the weather and other issues made us reschedule

. However, instead of mopping around, we adapted and overcame. Will proably be fishing somewhere far from the house next Saturday, either Merrill Creek again or some lake in South Jersey.
