Look at my report from 6/4. I was using shallow running rapalas. Soft plastics would work great there. Fished along the shoreline. Lot of pickeral and some bass. You would always see the swirl or the fish hitting your lure. Mostly dinks for us, probaly some nice bass and pickeral in there. There are probaly fish in the deeper parts but we didn't try there. There is a boat ramp but it's semi hard to manuever into. Good luck.

The ramp access is off of Clover street, between rt. 88 and Cederbridge ave. I fished this lake early in the season mainly targeting pike then later trout n bass. No luck for me on the Pike, but a decent season on trout and bass. There is a nice run of river herring here. Sometimes you will see a bait operation going on near the fish ladder. Last year for that though. (legally) Also were tons of commorants there gorging themselves near the damn/ladder.

What were you using? Nice fish. I will defintely head back there this year for sure. I knew there had to be some big bass and pickeral in there.
