Decided to stay local and hit Pemberton even after the poor fishing we had there Saturday evening. Wasn't a bad choice. Started out at 5:15 am and was drove off the lake around 6:45 for a 1/2 hour due to a torrential thunderstorm that came through(thanks Jim Cantore for lying again

). After we got back on the lake around 7:15 am, the sun came out and it got hot. Left around 9:45 am. We worked the shoreline for bass and jigged around the submerged docks for crappie. We ended our 4 hour morning of fishing with 44 crappie, bass, sunfish yellow perch, and one lone pickeral. Been a long time since we saw a toothy critter out of there. A good morning of fishing.
