![]() Hit the water just below Queens Bridge that runs from Bound Brook to South Bound Brook. Below the fast water I fished the deeper run, my 1st striper was around 11" long and my 2nd was about a foot long. Got two more around 8" long, and one bluegill. I had the light rod out today but wouldn't hesitate to fish that big deep run with my surf rod and surf plugs. Those little stripers fight really good on the UL. Alot of stuff floating on top, all falling out of the trees, it was as bad as the fall at one point. Water is getting clearer and shallower by the day. Went up to the falls and donated a few shad darts, then packed it in.

![]() Andy, Nice to see you got some today,
I went down to Boyd park this morning, 6AM till about 8:30 water was a bit muddy, slack tide then beginning of incoming, fished clams squid and threw a few lures, not a touch. Did see a comorant eating some small silver fish across the river, looked like peanut bunker, but don't think they could be this time of year. Will try again soon, |
