Talking Sb, Hakihohake, Pequest 4/22

Hit the SB at 930am with Craig, High Bridge area. Game on, 7 cookie cutter bows and brookies in 45 minutes. Then hooked a nicer bow at about 14 inches, good thing about this bow is that it was silver, KAMLOOP!!! Beautiful fish. The fish was glowing it was so silver. Anyway fishing died off round 1130. We then headed to Hakihohake, It was a stocking day for this creek but talking to a few guys on the river, the rumor was that the stocking truck ran out of trout coming from stocking the Musky. OH NO! Craig managed to get 4 rainbows and I managed 2 bows and a 7 inch native brown. Lunchtime, headed to Andys house on the Pequest, enjoyed pistachios, pretzel rods and a 30 pack of Coors. Hit the Pequest at 5pm, not too many guys, the fishing started out slow. Water was a lil high but manageable. Fishing picked up at 6, I managed to get 10 or so rainbows and Craig got about 10 as well. All in all a great day on the rivers and creeks. Ended the day with about 24 trout and a nice buzz. Craig ended the day with a big BUZZ and about 16 trout. No breeders yet for me, but the catching has been good. TIGHT LINES
