Default How long will the crappie be shallow?

I've been waiting for the warmer weather to try to get in on the shallow water pre-spawn and spawn. Seems like it may be about to break free with this warm spell. How long does that typically last?

Prospertown has been producing for 3 weeks . All the fish that we have kept were females full of eggs . Think big fish early in the prespawn/spawn snmall fish later . I don't think that it will last another 3 weeks at Prospertown .
