Day two,

Not as crazy as day one. Eric once again came up, and this time was in the river before I was out of bed! I got down there around 8:30, had my cawfee and bagel and watched some of the action from the bleachers. By the time I hopped in, Eric was already into double digits!

By the time I got in the river the bite had started to slow down a bit. Still, I plucked away and ended up with 18 more for day two. Looks like the 2011 count is off to a good start

I was on the water early after a great opening day. It picked up right where it left off with the fish biting. It was not the insane bite of Saturday but a steady pick. After the fantastic weather of Saturday I was spoiled and decided that I had enough at around 11. I got another 25 with most of them coming on fatheads and worms. I am going to ask the Shrimpman if I can camp in his backyard so I can be closer to the honey hole. After his black bear reports I think I will forget about that.
