Default Dark Horse 10/10 --- NIGHT EELING BEATDOWN, JUMBO BASS!!

IT'S TIME!!!! NIGHT EEL BEATDOWN!!!

Woah, what a night! Non stop action all night long from start to finish. Just like clockwork, all of our local haunts are LOADED with fish!!!! We had bites on every drift in multiple areas tonight. Biggest fish measured just under 48" with the smallest being 43". Couldn't have asked for a better first night of the fall! Thanks to the guys that trusted us tonight and helped us make a report, not chase one!

We sail EVERY NIGHT 6:30PM-11:30PM

Come catch yours! Friday night looks good!

2 Simon Lake Dr Atlantic Highlands NJ

Open boat, no reservations needed! Limited to 35 passengers, no overcrowding!

Here's just a couple of the pictures from tonight, check some more out on our Facebook page!

You are allowed 1 fish between 28 and 31 and if you have a bonus tag, another fish between 24 and 28.

Not sure where you are going with this? Capt Stated fish were between 43 and 48" . Looking at the pictures ALL fish were handled properly for release after a quick picture.

Congratulate him on a great trip ! Thats it

Do they have to use circle hooks ? Do you have to use eels, would bunker chunks work ???

they are typically driftig at night with a 3x3 rig.. I suppose if you anchored up and chunked, and used FRESH bunker it would bring you some bass.. However night drifting with live eels is absolutely deadly, and is a time proven and very simple method thats been around for a very long time. I am surprised its not used more.. I could be very wrong, but I cannot remember in all my years a north jersey head boat doing this .. Charters yes, but not a party boat. Everyone wants to jig these days, and I get it, but live eels is one of the best methods for catching stripers, and it works when nothing else does, and when most people think the stripers "aren't here yet".. This capt knows what he;s doing!.... bob

Circle hooks are mandated by law now whenever using live or dead bait.

And quite frankly Andy, why do you continue troll here seeming to look for trouble? If someone wants to keep a fish that's within the regs that's their business and none of yours

Capt. Dan Seich ran the Angler, Teal and Fishermen all Party boats for many years. One of the best night bass fishermen there ever was. He learned the ropes starting as a deck hand with Marty Haines/Sea Pigeon.
