GAMBLER --Taug Report April 1st
Gambler was out today on our first trip of the season. We are running a 10AM till 3PM trip in April, everyday except Fridays. (Fridays we will be offshore on the tilefish grounds, weather permitting).
Just a dozen guys joined us. The wind was blustery with a fairly big groundswell from the South. It got bouncy as we travelled further off. Fishing was slow, with a few bites on each of our spots. Just a few short blackfish with one keeper today. But it was good to get out and clear the cobwebs. Gambler's trip tomorrow is cancelled due to poor conditions. *All our trips are sailing at reduced capacity for your comfort *Heated/AC cabin --coffee, burgers, hotdogs, pizza available in our well stocked galley *Book on-line or show-up at the dock --if we are not fully booked, we will gladly get you on-board. Suggested to call first at 732-295-7569 *You do not need a fishing license to fish with us --you are covered under the Gambler's registry. *Gambler is a Striped Bass Bonus Program Boat *
