![]() By now ya all know the NSB we fish with
![]() Left MI 6:30 am to calm seas and a little later a beautiful sunrise. Searched a little for the striped ones and with nothing around set off east for bottom fishing. Quick box of porgies and a few nice seabass. Moved a little further and boxed up nicer seabass to top off the box. Then Cappy got the call and we steamed way north of where we were to get on the Blue Planet Striper action. Bait, Birds and some Bluefin bruisers jumping clear on bait. Saw a whale feeding on the bunker. extra bonus Stripers in the 30LB up range cooperated All on Ava's Plain or with tails which is a lot of fun getting the strike. Still undecided if fishing live or dead bunkers is better than the Ava's but lets be happy either way! Got back around 4:30PM so kudos to Capt and crew putting in the extra time and giving us a top 10 day. Not bad for October ![]()
