My guide fishes wayyyyyyy up on the Delaware river near Callicoon NY.

They range as far north as the Amur River in Siberia, so they van tolerate very cold water.. Its only a matter of time before more are seen in the upper Delaware, and possibly the upper Susquehanna as well.. That being said, I don't think we are seeing the horrific takeover everyone thought would happen Other species are doing just fine with snakeheads around... They eat the same things as LMB, Esox, and aren't nest raiders, and when they are small they probably get eaten as well.. Tell you what, send the Snakeheads up here, we'll swap even for Gobies, Zebras, or Quaggas.. Your choice, or even better, take all 3!... I'd take the snakeheads over invasive Flathead cats as well.. They say they are hard hitters, game fighters, and from what I hear, one of the very best eating fish you can catch in fresh water.. Not a bad deal really....bob
