SPECIAL OCEAN FLUKE REPORT SUNDAY 8/25/2024
Hey Gang, It was another beautiful day out in the ocean on the fluke grounds. We had a great group of regulars so I knew the talent onboard was going to help put some fish in the boat.
First couple of drifts we picked a handful of shorts and keepers but did not have munch of a drift. Moved to another spot and it was game on with nice keepers and shorts coming over the rails. This action lasted throughout most of the and slowed up as the ride backed off and the southerly winds arrived. Multiple limits landed onboard with Prowler regular Ben taking the pool with a nice 6.7lb flattie. Ended up just shy of 40 keepers with multiple fish in the 3-4lb range. Easy boat Limit on the sea bass and plenty of short fluke. Thanks for checking in, Capt Jack. Sailing 7:30 to 2:30pm tomorrow.
