Default Most Unbelievable Tyman Day of Striper Fishing

Got an invite to fish with Joe S, Gen W, Alex and the legendary Chuck Tyman Manny. This guy is the real deal!

Surprised I have enough gas left in my tank to even type this since my arms feel like they're going to fall off.. I've been fishing for Stripers all my adult life and today was the most insane Striper fishing I've encountered and was told this was a slow day... This guys is so good he shits ice cream

We had to have at least 40 Stripers with at least 10 going over 40 pounds and the 2 biggest at 48 and 49 pounds. We had doubles, triples on at a time pulling eels on planer boards and nothing less then 28 pounds. At one point Joe was reeling in a fish and 10 or 15 fish followed it right up to the boat. INSANE

Chuck fishes like no one else I've seen with 9 or 10 rods out covering probably a 30 yard wide spread and when we'd hit a pack, it was like a Chinese fire drill.

Still shaking my head in disbelief....

It was a bit cold and breezy the first part of the AM but when the wind died all that stuff came off

After reeling in 5 or so of these beasts, each time a pole doubled over I was praying for someone to reel it in and these guys would start chanting Gerry- Gerry and shame me into another. They rode me like a broken bike
