Honeybee Tuesday
After Saturdays encouraging start to the fluke season we hit the river again this morning. Caught the last of the incoming, no bites and waited for the outgoing.
Started to pick away on keepers and shorts, ended the morning at 11 with 5 keepers, all no measurement necessary, and about 35 shorts for our 4 man crew. East wind against the tide made for a good drift. Water temp 55.4 in the river, but up in the back it was 57.6. Could not find a fish in the back so came back and caught all our fish in the river. Hope to get out again later in the week.
