GAMBLER --Stripers 12/31 and upcoming Taug trips
Really nice day on the water and good striped bass action under birds. The fish were taking A-47s with or without tails. A mix of slots and bonus fish were caught. By about 11AM the bite had died out but by then we had all we needed. Gambler will finish the striper run on high note, since we will not be able to use the bonus tags after today.
Looking forward to our upcoming January taug trips! --check our site for all the details. Except for some bad weather weeks, Gambler's 2023 season was exceptional. Customers took home plenty of fluke and sea bass this summer; the offshore canyon trips were amazing --and the striper run from November thru this month was one of the best I've ever seen. I want to thank all our patrons for a terrific 2023. Gambler's customers are the best! Thanks also to Gambler's great deckhands, captains, office managers and galley people --who make it all run smoothly. Capt Bob
