Default keyport seahawk (formally) end season recap

well it was a pretty sad end to the season, considering all we wanted to to do was tog fish a few times, but we simply couldn't not find a decent bite anywhere at different tides, shallow, deep, nowhere, didn't matter.... every time we started getting a little life, it would go dead almost just as quick. Managed only one keeper in a few trips, but it was a nice hefty one at least.

on the other hand we found stripers every time as something to resort to haha. Even had some hefty ones stalking under the average and schoolies if you could get the small lures down to them. all light tackle fun!

That a tactical clip or a small duolock on the jig head ? Looking for an option other than the tactical clip. Shitty vision and fat fingers aren’t a good combo for the tac clips.

I don't remember the brand, but it's that tactical style clip yeah. i usually just tie lures on but after changing a few times trying to get a bite, i sometimes just switch to a clip so i can rapid fire different lures on the fly haha

You had a terrific year fishing Chrisper. Nice going!

Haven't been out togging much but it's been a grind. Seems like for whatever reason you get on a spot you get a quick flurry of bites, a fish or 2, think your on to something and it dies. Lots of moving and wiggling involved in trying to put a catch together. Hoping this cold snap changes things up a bit...

yeah it was a fine season except for the tog fishing last few weeks... unfortunately john's boat is wrapped now, but if there are any tog trips or groups going out next few weeks with spots i'll be looking to jump on for sure!
