![]() Dreary weather but not bad seas at all, yesterday. The Gambler had great action in the first half of the trip. Lots of 28 to 34 inch stripers taking spoons and shads. We were releasing by 11AM or so. Almost a limit on bonus fish, too. After noon or so, the fish got lock-jaw, but we had a great catch and a lot of fun with a light crowd. I took the rare occasion to fish myself --very enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the next few days look like a blow-out. But hopefully, by Tuesday, the Gambler will be back on the striped bass grounds. Looking forward to fishing the rest of this month for stripers. Last year, we caught them into January!

![]() It was awesome. The swell had them feeding on a mix of adult bunker and rainfish from the bottom to mid-water. I hope to see a few rail warriors on Tuesday.
