![]() Snuck out for a short 4 hour trip and all we got were shorts. Covered a lot of different areas just east of Earle out to Breezy Point and many areas in between. I stuck with Bucktails while Rich and Bill dragged bait, neither seemed to have any advantage other then the baits produced more doggies. Probably had a dozen throw backs not even close enough to measure and most of the action was in 25 feet of water or less.
Nice day on the water but it sure was hot back at the dock.

![]() Sorry to say, Gerry, but we had the same type of trip out of Manasquan inlet yesterday. 2 in the box and about 8 shorts, between Axel and Sea Girt reefs. I saw a fishing show from Florida, and the man said that since the fish can see underwater on a full moon, they rest in the morning and feed on the afternoon outgoing tide. On the new moon they feed on the morning incoming. Makes some logic sense, but first I have heard of that logic............Catch 'em up another day.................Papa
