Mass Philly snapper, tog & sea bass extravaganza
Well 2 full days of drop n reel fishing.
Lights out first day with capt. Fluffy on NSB 6 person blackfish limit by 730 am while throwing back probably 50-60 16inch plus sea bass. After that went & played with the porgys. Big rod breaking porgys were the rule along with more sea bass & sea robins. Day 2 we were greeted with snotty seas so got our philly snapper fill then went off for sea bass. Drop & reel all the men were real pro staffers jigging throw backs while Devon went double limit + on top n bottom rig with secret bait from capt. Fluff. Dev also had the first keeper sea bass for the sea bass season. Nicky made the trip by catching me a mackerel, he also had an estimated 15-50lb striped catfish(depending who you ask)spit the hook at the surface. After we had our limit we went togging & got an absolute disgusting chew going double header keepers coming up until an old arch enemy appeared. Tats can attest to this horrid creatures antics towards me in the past, the seal from Asbury Park appeared! This 600lb whiskered menace (seal not me) instantly shut off the bite & hurled anti-semitic insults at scubanut typical Boston filth! Capt. Jeffy repositioned us & we were able to top off the tog limit. Docked got loaded up & sat in Connecticut for 4hrs. Luckily I tossed porgys like Asian throwing stars at peoples tires to calm my road rage. Awesome time big thanks to my hebro for the invite & for Capt. Jeff for putting us on the meat & being so cuddly!
