Wednesday in the Bay
Went exploring Wednesday morning in preparation of tte Hi Mar Striper Club Tournament this weekend. Found lots of mark in the East Reach west of the Ammo pier. Amazing amount of bunker with huge pods all over. Trolled green shad umbrella and white mojos. Took about 1 1/2 hours to get the first bite but this girl was over 50 inches long! Total for the day was 5. 51,43,43,36,33 with all the overs returned to the water safely. Ran a bunker spoon on lead line most of the day without success. Water 62 deg. West Wind, outgoing tide most of the day.
