![]() Need to get out for a few hours tomorrow morning. What’s running in the inlet? Have the fluke all fled for deeper waters? Any small blues or false albacore? Still best on an incoming tide?
Thanks! |

![]() Still fluke, mostly shorts unless you can live line snappers or peanut bunker. Blues and albies are occasionally around.

![]() Plenty of fluke (both keepers and shorts). I’ve been catching all season with live killies, fresh spearing and around the slack tide using a very light jighead with a jerkshad. I wouldn’t hesitate to use live mullet, peanuts or snappers if you can cast net them.
Blackfish by the rocks. Haven’t seen or heard of any albies being caught recently. Had a few days where they blitzed at the end of the jetty but that was a few weeks back. Heard there was a cocktail bluefish blitz last week. Last edited by Skolmann; 09-14-2021 at 10:05 AM.. |

![]() Didn’t get a hit there last week with Ava and Bomber. Saw bait fishermen catch fluke, skates and a sea robin.
