Default PROWLER5 - WED. 7/28/21 - FLUKE - SEA BASS REPORT

Hey gang, we had a good crowd of regular customers aboard the Prowler again today on a gorgeous day in the ocean. After having 35 keeper fluke yesterday, we did not get that today. But we worked hard to land 25 quality keeper fluke and landed over 35 big sea bass and probably 150 short fluke. Artie, Big Joe and Wayne fishing the bow had two each. Joe in the stern had two and a lot of other customers had two keepers also. Wayne our regular customer won the pool with a nice 5.2 ocean fluke. Nice to see him back on the boat with good health again. I did not see any limits on fluke for our boat today, but once again, I can't get over how clean and clear the water is where we've been fishing.Just absolutely gorgeous. Tomorrow's forecast calls for rain in the morning with thunder showers in the afternoon as well as SE winds - 10 to 15 with gusts to 20 so we are going to pass on sailing tomorrow. I'm sure some of the other boats will be lighting up though. Definitely going to be back at it on Friday with 10-15 out of the NW. Great conditions, especially where we've been fishing. Don't forget about our MEGA mid-season Fluke pool. You can talk to the crew about the entry fee. I'll see you guys for the big fluke and sea bass trip on Friday, July 30th. It's 85 dollars and No reservations are needed. We are an open boat. Thanks, Capt. Scott
