Angry Sandy Hook

Spent the day surf fishing @Sandy Hook yesterday with not much luck. Few on the beach were fishing, mostly swimming. Weather was beautiful. Two Cow nose rays were caught by bait fisherman, one was huge possibly 50lbs+, three feet across and one was much smaller 20lbs+. Both were returned to fight another day. Fun in the surf and sun anyway. Outgoing tide from 6am-1pm. Did not see any bait fish around or head boats from Belmar. See ya all later, Rammie

Why is called fishing and not catching. Better days ahead as fall weather moves in.
