Down Deep Bull - First Fluke trip
With a great bunch of seasoned regulars, we pounded our way around the bay into the Bight and put a few keepers on the table with hardly any short life. Found a nice area to work and we did worked it until the we lost the tide which resulted in instant lockjaw. Equal life on dragging bait and jigging. We definitely fared better than most locally. It was nice to see the flat ones again but.... today we’re on a bottom dweller trip and we’re going to stick to Seabass, Ling, etc. & Striped Bass trips for now going forward.
