Are You Ready For Some Stripers!!

The time has come and they are starting to be caught in the bay's and rivers as I write this. April and May are perhaps the best months of the year so get ready.

For those of you new to this fishery, we here in the NJ area are spoiled with some of the best Striper fishing in the world PERIOD END OF STATEMENT!

We have resident Stripers in the bays and rivers all year long. Early in the spring these resident fish wake up hungry and shortly afterwards the run starts and the larger migrating ocean fish from the south show up and stop along their way north to fatten up on all the bait in our bays.

If you want to catch a Striper, these next few months in the bays and rivers is the right time. Later, say late May and into June, the Ocean gets red hot.

I've been telling my Grandson Hudson stories about Walter, the Striped Bass who hangs on my wall in my office for a few years now. He asks to see him and hear the story every time he comes... He's pumped and I think this year he's finally ready and so looking forward to see his face when we land his Walter.
