Default More Surf Fishing

Spent the last few days of fall on the beach. Saturday morning was nice no crowds, alot of Peanuts and Sand Eels and nice whitewater although pretty dingy. Got a couple bites and caught one on the teaser before the bright sunlight killed the action. This morning was nice too and there was a few more guys out. The water was still stained and it was just one of those days with the Seagulls sitting on the beach and the Loons chilling outside the bar, it just wasn't happening and I was fortunate to get one on a yellow Needlefish. Happy Holidays and all the best to all.

Caught nothing at Manasquan the past two nights. There’s always more surfers than fish there.

Caught, tagged and released a striped bass at 5 PM on a Monmouth County jetty with one surfer and nine fishermen nearby. Lost and missed some leader shy fish. Lots of baitfish were breaking water.
