Miss Belmar - EXCELLENT FISHING TODAY!!!

Today, we fished north of Shark River Inlet and had excellent fishing! After having 5 days of tough fishing, the bite was on today! We ended up with over 40 stripers with pretty much everyone catching their limits, along with at least a few dozen JUMBO BLUES in the mix. We also had slot fish and released stripers that were 38” or bigger. The bite was early today and 90% of what we caught was put in the boat before 9:00 a.m. this morning and then we picked a couple here and there the rest of the day. The Royal Miss Belmar is sailing tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. & the Miss Belmar Princess is sailing at 7:30 a.m. With hardly any boat traffic today, it made a big difference with the bite until the tide dropped out. Today, we headed north of Shark River Inlet and picked at stripers and blues on each drift. We saw some fish and had decent readings at times.

The Royal Miss Belmar is sailing strictly for stripers with an early start leaving at 6:00 a.m. returning at 1:00 p.m. with a very limited capacity.

The Miss Belmar Princess is sailing strictly for stripers from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with a very limited capacity.
