Default Nothing Fantastic but We Got Dinner

11/8/2020 We had a very late start, our plan was to get out front and work the coast but it was hard to cruise past all the bunker in the Raritan Bay so we worked some of the pods. We saw some fish on top on the fish finder but we couldn't make anything bite. We threw all kinds of metal at them, all the colors and sizes, nothing. No Luck, we finally tried dropping an eel down and caught a 30 incher. We thought we were finally on to something, that was a BIG, FAT NO!!
We tried the eels for a while with no success and decided to move outside of the hook. We worked our way down the coast, trolling Mojos and umbrella rigs. Nothing was biting, we turned around at the north-end of the rocks heading north where we hooked 4 bass, all measuring about 30". We finally caught dinner and called it a day. All in all a beautiful day to be out on the water.

Hard to beat being out in t shirts in November. Sounds like you covered some ground.
