Election Day PP toytog report
Well it was the last day of Devons mini vacation so I took the day off & told her we can do whatever she wants, maybe foliage tour? Some antiquing? Nope, said she wanted to go blackfishing. So off we went to the canal. Got to our usual spot where she had planned on finally landing old rusty & there was a solid 12-15 guys all along the fence considering there is loads of access I didn't mug & figured just hit another spot, that was mobbed too! So called my old flame Dave tats & got permission to fish the bed & breakfast drop!
By time we got there we had missed the best part of the tide as slack was turning to outgoing. Both had bites right away, dev landed 2 in a row then I got a nice c-anal tog but once the outgoing turned on water got cold, dirty & loaded with grass. For whatever reason guys on island side didn't seem to have the grass issue & we watched 3 guys land maybe 10 between them certainly not hot fishing but better than the bite we had.
