Default Manahawkin

Going to help christen his boat down in Manahawkin towards the end of the month. I have zero knowledge of the area and what to target. Trying to read up but figured I would come here for help. Reading about "rips" in Barnegat Inlet, BB Buoy, BI Buoy. Are these spots where we could possibly hit blues and stripers ? is it diamond jigging, mojo trolling , live bait fishing ? Are the fish on the outside , is it a trolling game outside from Barnegat to Holgate ? I am much more familiar with Manasquan North and Brigantine South. Are there schools of false albacore to cast to ? Probably going to be down there from Oct 25th through Nov 8th..I know it all depends on how the run is going , I am just trying to develop a potential game plan. Not looking to have guys give up their spots, I am merely looking for guidance. Thanks for any help you provide

what size type of boat? also, you BETTER know BI Inlet and rips very well or you can easily run into significant rocks/jetty structure that are often below the surface on the north end of the inlet and sink your boat. it can get rough in the rips. depending on boat you might want to consider heading north instead of south...structure is better to the north imho. p.s. the fish have shown up decently so far - between my fishing buddy and his 15 year old son who joined us on one outing we probably have caught 40-50 bass and at least a dozen blues in the last 8-10 days....all from the sand. bass to 35" with many smaller and medium sized mixed in. blues - largest only 5 lb so far. sp hydro minnows, smaller poppers, etc. have been the ticket. too much time to tell where the fish will be in 3 weeks.....keep an eye on it. pic of one of the larger bass posted.

Also a good stretch of the North Jetty is submerged. Be careful. You could always fish the Causeway Bridge in Manahawkin.

Or run up into the Manasquan and fish out of there like most people do.

Aka use the PP Canal.

Appreciate the feedback. Just trying to find the best way to stay safe and bend the rod.
