![]() I have a 22 foot Stratos Cuddy that I tow from PA to NJ. I need a new trailer as the one that’s under the boat is 20 years old and it’s real tired. Looking for an aluminum duel axle trailer that will handle a 7000 pound boat.
Thanks. |

![]() With those cross NJ trips new is the way to go. Used is a Russian Roulette with that 100+ mile trip and salt water immersion. I like LoadRite in smaller ones. Bunks v Roller style...

![]() I would not recommend buying a Tidewater trailer. I bought one new last summer and the fifth time I launched/retrieved my boat somehow the screws attaching the bunks to the brackets came out and the bracket bent over. Tidewater initially refused to honor the warranty (two year) as they believed I must have run the boat into the trailer under power and that was the cause. But I never once did that, the boat was hand winched onto the bunks every one of the five times. Eventually they agreed to cover half of the cost to replace the bent brackets and missing hardware (total cost with labor was $200+). But I’ve lost confidence in the trailer and am probably going to replace it.

![]() Load Rite dual axel bunk with disk brakes. Has never let me down and the boat sits very well balanced exactly where the weight should be.
