FISHERMEN/Mondays Ocean Fishing Report

Made our way back into the Ocean today, still had a pretty good swell and I was a little concerned about what the bite would be. We fished a couple nice pieces of bottom and slugged away all day on Keeper Fluke, shorts and some beautiful Sea Bass.

Couple guys had their three by days end including Steve Chaos, Mr. Kim and Phil Jr. Rob who has had his 3 plus every trip he's been on so far landed two today along with a whole bunch of shorts and sea bass.

Pool fish went to Phil Sr. after I hooked him up with a fresh piece of Bunker. Told him to be ready for the Big one, he wasn't down 2 minutes and got slammed by a very nice 4 1/2 pound Fluke to take the pool.

Uncle Jimmy from Staten Island had his day with the Sea Bass and a bunch of fluke once again. Mr. & Mrs. Kim had a very nice mixed bag also. Good to find some fish in new area's every day but it's not easy, have to work it hard and put your time in for the reward.
